Storm Team 4 takes you beyond the forecast.

Areas of Rain Heading North...

March 11, 2010 | Areas of rain, but mild temperatures is the Southeast Wisconsin and Milwaukee forecast for the afternoon. There is one initial band of rain working its way north as we speak, but there are breaks and even a little sunshine behind this rain. That may set the stage for a few more scattered showers or an isolated T’storm to develop as the afternoon wears on, so keep that in mind if you see a break. Temperatures will be in the mid-forties right along the Lake Michigan shoreline, but lower-fifties inland when it’s not raining.

Tonight, we will watch for any scattered showers or isolated T’storms working their way out of Illinois. Any of these still left could be working their way through during the evening, but not last all night. Overnight lows will still be on the mild-side with readings in the lower-forties for inland and Milwaukee temperatures. Watch out again for areas of fog, and some of that dense, later tonight.

Tomorrow, we will wait for the next wave of energy to move through the area. Watch for more morning fog, some dense, to linger through parts of the area. This could cause some more problems during the morning rush. The way it looks now though, most of the day should actually be quiet until later. In the later afternoon hours is when we may see some scattered showers redeveloping. Highs will be in the mid-forties right along the Lake Michigan shoreline, but lower-fifties again inland.

Scattered showers will affect us tomorrow night.

A few scattered showers or some patchy drizzle will stick around for our Saturday as well, but temperatures will still stay mild.

Sunday, a slight chance of a light shower or sprinkle will linger, but will not wash out the day.
