Still Foggy
The dense fog advisory expired around noon, but the foggy and damp conditions continue across SE Wisconsin with visibilities between 1 and 3 miles. I was at a school talk today in Sheboygan Falls and the drive up I-43 at 10am had visibility of less than a 1/4 mile the entire drive. By 12:30 the sun was trying to break through the clouds in some locations and a few miles later visibility was about a half mile again. Those conditions will remain into the evening hours and patchy fog is expected overnight along with light rain showers.
A line of rain showers is along the Illinois-Wisconsin border and slowly working its way into Milwaukee just in time for the evening commute. Expect occasional light rain this evening and overnight as well as before noon on Wednesday. The rest of Wednesday will be cloudy with drizzle and highs in the lower 40s near the lake and near 50 inland.
