Fog Lifting, Clouds Increasing, Rain Coming
A monumentally slow-moving weather system is approaching Wisconsin and will be in control of our weather for the rest of the week...and probably into the weekend. This system's affect on our weather was already seen this morning in the form of dense fog. Moist air being brought northward, combined with our already moisture-laden air from recent snow-melt, combined to lead to the fog. As the fog continues to lift this afternoon, rain-producing clouds will move in from the southwest. Light rain could develop as early as late this afternoon, although there's a better chance it will hold off until tonight. That will be the first round of what will likely be several rounds of rain over the next 5 or 6 days. Current indications are that the rain will be mostly light and sporadic through the week. For that reason, it does not appear there will be any major flooding.
