Storm Team 4 takes you beyond the forecast.

When do Bigger Snows Move In?

Feb. 6, 2010 | Some additional lake effect snow showers, flurries and wind is the Southeast Wisconsin and Milwaukee forecast. Though the snow will not be an all day event, expect some snow showers to leave some light accumulations in a few areas. It would be really tough to measure though as the winds are just blowing the light, fluffy snow away. Highs today will be near thirty though the winds will make it feel colder with gusts over 25 MPH at times.

Tonight, the northeasterly winds continue, leaving those few areas of scattered snow showers and flurries. Any accumulation would be light with other places not seeing any snow. Temperature readings overnight will be in the mid-teens inland and near twenty for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures.

Tomorrow, expect more of the same, though there will be less wind. A few scattered snow showers and highs near thirty.

A few flurries stick around tomorrow night.

There’s a chance of light afternoon snow on Monday afternoon, but Monday night, snow becomes more widespread. This snow continues through Tuesday as well. It’s just too early to nail down any snow totals. It’s all going to depend on the position of the storm while it rolls through. We’ll keep you updated.
