How Does The Weekend Look?
Breezy with scattered snow showers and flurries is the Southeast Wisconsin and Milwaukee forecast for this afternoon. A huge storm is passing us to the south, and we are seeing the far northern fringe. This will bring scattered snow showers or a few flurries with little to no accumulation. Most temperatures today will top out above the freezing mark with Southeast Wisconsin and Milwaukee temperatures in the middle-thirties.
Tonight, a few scattered snow showers or flurries may still linger around the area. Again, any accumulation would be light if anything. Expect breezy conditions and readings in the mid-twenties for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures, but near twenty-degree lows inland overnight.
Tomorrow, with a northeasterly wind, we may see a few lake effect snow showers and flurries. This could give a few areas some light accumulations, but this is not expected to be a major event. It still will be breezy with highs in the upper-twenties.
Sunday looks mostly cloudy with highs in the upper-twenties.
Our next widespread, accumulating snow looks to fall on Monday night into Tuesday. Of course, as this system gets closer, we’ll have more details on it. Right now, an inch or two looks to be the rule.
